Within the scope of the 5th National Action Plan on Combating Violence Against Women, it is aimed to reach different segments of society through the “Modular Seminar Program on a Life Free from Violence Against Women.” In this context, a seminar program will be organized to ensure that young female university students—who are at a higher risk of encountering violence—gain awareness of the types of violence they may face in their emotional relationships, social environments, and online settings, as well as their early warning signs, and to inform them about the available support and reporting mechanisms.
The seminar will be held on April 28, 2026, at 13:30 in Amphitheater A101 of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Building, in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services and the Gaziantep University Women’s Studies Research and Application Center (GÜKAMER).
